Mariposa
Magnificent aluminum serve ware
individually cast and finished in two workshops in Mexico using traditional sand casting
technique. Each piece is based on original clay sculptures created for Mariposa
by designer Michael Updike. Brillante holds a chill beautifully and can be
warmed to 300 degrees Fahrenheit when serving hot foods. Cutting directly on any
metal surface will scratch the finish. It’s best to carve elsewhere and
transfer your food to the serving piece. To keep your Brillante pieces brilliant
for years to come, always hand wash them in sudsy water soon after each use.
(Also before using them the first time.) Never put your Brillante in the
dishwasher. |
